D155 Predators Hockey
The D155 Predators Hockey Club is a 501c3 non-profit organization for District 155 High School students playing in the Illinois High School Hockey League (IHSHL) North Central Division. Current member schools include Cary-Grove, Crystal Lake Central, Crystal Lake South, and Prairie Ridge High School.
Ages
High school aged students from District 155 (Crystal Lake Central, Crystal Lake South, Cary Grove, and Prairie Ridge) are eligible to participate with the D155 Predators Hockey Club.
When
The Fall Season begins with a mini- camp and tryouts in mid-August and runs through league playoffs that finish in February.
Where
Practices and home games are held at the Crystal Ice House. Games may be played across the metro region for the IHSHL North Central.
Practices
Team practices are held 2 times per week. In addition, each week all teams participate in an on-ice skills session as well as an off-ice skills session.
Games
Teams will play around 20 league games over the course of the season and they will usually fall on the weekends plus additional exhibition games throughout the season. Each team will also participate in 4 tournaments (1 home, and 3 out of town in various locations).
